Digital Warehouse for DTEK Energo: Innovations in Logistics and Inventory Management

Implementing efficient logistics solutions in the modern world can address the most complex challenges and help companies adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.

DTEK Energo, in collaboration with the IT company MODUS X, has introduced the “Digital Warehouse” solution to transform procurement and warehouse logistics processes. The forest processing base of the Pavlograd Material-Technical Supply Branch of DTEK Pavlogradugol, PJSC, became the first base to adopt this updated approach to inventory management.

The “Digital Warehouse” solution incorporates a range of modern technologies, including:

• Internet of Things (IoT): Sensors and devices that collect data about goods and storage conditions.
• Barcodes and RFID: Allowing precise tracking of goods within the warehouse.
• Cloud Computing: Providing access to data anytime, from anywhere.

The introduction of this digital tool has enabled automatic photo documentation of transportation and cargo, linked to batch documents of timber and sawn timber materials. This will reduce tax risks by 4.4 million UAH annually. The company will achieve additional savings of 400,000 UAH from efficient logistics planning.

The innovative approach to warehouse management ensures greater transparency in processes through a user notification system and real-time updates of goods receipt status. Integrating the digital signature using a DIGITAL PIN with the “Vchasno” service offers online control over incoming flows.

Businesses must now meet consumer needs quickly and efficiently. Market conditions demand higher logistics and warehouse operation standards. This new approach enables automatic inventory tracking and real-time management, reducing errors. This applies not only to the B2C sector but also to the B2B sector.

This determines the smooth operation of mines, concentrators, and fuel supply for the country’s thermal generation.
