Cybersecurity Business Lunch by MODUS X, Trend Micro, and ELKO Ukraine Held in Kyiv

On April 17, MODUS X, in partnership with Trend Micro and ELKO Ukraine, hosted a Cybersecurity Business Lunch in Kyiv. The event brought together IT leaders, cybersecurity experts, and representatives of Ukrainian businesses that are actively implementing modern approaches to protecting digital assets.

The presentations covered the cybersecurity space from three key perspectives — that of the vendor, the integrator, and the distributor, all of whom together form the cybersecurity ecosystem inside organizations:

• Dmytro Ostapenko, Regional Sales Engineer at Trend Micro, presented the Cyber Risks Exposure Management tool — a solution for quantifying and proactively managing cyber risks that enables CIOs and CISOs to make data-driven decisions instead of relying on assumptions.
• Oleksandr Matenko, Head of Infrastructure Security Team at MODUS X, shared a real-life case of building a cybersecurity system for the critical infrastructure of the DTEK energy holding — highlighting the real-world challenges and solutions that work at scale in enterprise environments.
• Roman Chornenkyi, Head of Cybersecurity Unit at ELKO Ukraine, led an open discussion with attendees about how Ukrainian companies are currently approaching the protection of their digital assets, the difficulties they face, and which tools have proven effective in practice.

The event served as a platform for experience-sharing and peer dialogue among professionals from diverse companies. Attendees were able to discuss current threats, practical response scenarios, and proven solutions that are already helping companies defend themselves amid growing cyber risks.
